The RTMC is also sending out e-mail and SMS reminders with the option to renew discs online so motorists can avoid queues and make necessary payments online.
Vehicle owners are encouraged to update their email and telephone contact details at online.natis.gov.za to receive the reminders. Owners can renew on the same portal and have their motor vehicle licences delivered within three to five days. A new motor vehicle licence will then be sent by courier within three to five days,- Simon Zwane (RTMC Spokesperson)
Vehicle owners are also encouraged to register their profiles at online.natis.gov.za in only five easy steps and for those already registered the finalisation of the renewal should take less than 10 minutes.
