On January 5, the Golden Globes celebrated the best in film and television, with winners walking away not just with stunning trophies but also with extravagant goody bags.

Dubbed 'The Ultimate Gift Bag', these luxurious collections were valued at $1 million (around R18 million) – and presenters weren’t left out either.

Curated by Robb Report, the stylish suede bags with golden 'Golden Globes' tags contained 28 lavish products and experiences, accompanied by an 'Ultimate Gift Book' detailing the opulent treats.

According to the Golden Globes press release, recipients can choose their favourite bits.

The exclusive vacation packages include a yacht trip through the Coral Triangle in Indonesia, a private flight and stay to view the Northern Lights in Finland, and a three-night stay in a luxurious villa in Turks and Caicos valued at $507,492 (R9.4 million). 

Additionally, the beauty and wellness offerings inlcude a $40,000 non-surgical stem cell facelift, a $1,400 oxygen facial, a $15,000 NordicTrack Ultra 1 treadmill, and personalized dance and workout sessions worth $25,000.
