An inside look at the winner of the 'Filthiest Car' award
Updated | By Jean-Mari Schmidt
That one friend you have who never seems to clean their car has nothing on the winner of this award.
Do you ever get into someone else's car and they instantly say "Excuse the mess" only for you to find maybe one plastic bag on the floor?

Well, it might be a bit harder to get into Lindy Winship's car and it is also very likely that she won't apologise for the state of her vehicle.
Especially since she has now won the UK's Filthiest Car Award.
Winship, a 60-year-old from Essex in the UK, who you would think is embarrassed about her grim win is actually quite thrilled!

Although she has noted that it is impossible for her to take passengers in her car.
She lives on a farm with her husband and the couple have lovingly named the car the "graveyard". The car is filled to the brim with snacks, drinks, trash, and even some tools.

You can see the car in its full glory here:
Whatever needs clearing up or has been carried somewhere to clean up or repair around the farm, it all gets thrown in her. My husband even has all the bad snacks and drinks in there too. When my husband loses tools, I always say it’s probably in the graveyard, so a frantic search begins for a much-needed tool, which creates more mess! Apparently, everything in her comes in handy at some point. It’s a mammoth task to clean her, and I have to give my husband a days' notice at least.- Lindy Winship

Lindy was the winner of a nationwide competition that was run by ATS Euromaster, a tyre and service provider, who wanted to find the filthiest car and to everyone's surprise, the entries came flooding in!
In the end, Lindy won herself a £200 Amazon voucher and the coveted title as the owner of the 'UK's Filthiest Car'.
If people were hoping she would be attempting a major car cleanup soon, we're almost certain that winning this award means it's not happening anytime soon.
