Jason Smith is not your average gym rat.
On paper, Jason Smith seems like any other 38-year-old.

He's happily married, has three kids who he loves, and runs his own business.
He also runs two Crossfit gyms and working out is one of his favourite hobbies.
Since joining the Crossfit gang in 2008, he has become one of the biggest names in the sport, literally and figuratively.

In 2009, he started competing in Crossfit competitions and has made it to the Crossfit Games three times, with 2023 being his fourth appearance.
He has held the title of Fittest Man in Africa multiple times since 2013 and this year is no different.
Rob Forbes and Rozanne McKenzie sat down with Smith to talk about his latest accomplishment, and also to find out if Crossfit is as intimidating as it seems and what the most common misconceptions are:
