Sometimes a banana stuck to a wall is viewed as deep, meaningful artwork and comes with a big price tag, other times it's just fruit on a wall.
One thing humans tend to agree on when it comes to art is that some people are spending too much on it.

But if you are one of the most successful singers of the last decade, then you definitely have more disposable income than most and you get to spend it however you wish.
Popstar Justin Bieber recently surprised his wife, Hailey Bieber, with a custom artwork that cost him a cool $5,000 (around R95,000).

The customised picture is a bespoke piece created by Idiot Box Art and features messages Hailey had sent Justin during a conversation:

The couple recently celebrated their five-year anniversary and Justin had the gift delivered while his wife was attending Paris Fashion Week in order to surprise her.
The gift might not be for everyone and fans were torn between loving it and questioning it:
