Kristen Bell shares that her kids drink non-alcoholic beer
Updated | By Jean-Mari Schmidt
'Frozen' star Kristen Bell appeared on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' and spoke about what her kids order at restaurants.
Many of us would, as kids, pour some grape juice into a wine glass and pretend to be drinking wine with our parents.

And in some cultures, it is also not frowned upon to give alcohol to babies and young children in moderation.
However, if you were to order your child a beer in a restaurant today, you are bound to get some strange, judgemental looks.
Actress Kristen Bell, who is married to fellow actor Dax Shepard, has two daughters, Lincoln (nine) and Delta (eight).

While appearing on Kelly Clarkson's show it was revealed that her daughters love drinking non-alcoholic beer, and she was very adamant about the fact that there is no alcohol in this beer and that "context is important".
Kristen and Dax have been very vocal about his struggle with addiction and that he is a recovering addict, but he still enjoys a non-alcoholic beer.

Although the mom-of-two says that the daughters sometimes try and order a non-alcoholic beer when the family are dining out, she has tried to let them know that it's more of a home thing.
Kristen and Dax are also not too bothered by what others think of their parenting approach.
In an interview with Real Simple earlier this year, she spoke a lot about parenting:
There are all these 'hard topics' that don't have to be if you give the person on the other end your vulnerability and a little bit of credit. I hate the word 'taboo.' I think it should be stricken from the dictionary. There should be no topic that's off the table for people to talk about. I know it's shocking, but I talk to my kids about drugs, and the fact that their daddy is an addict and he's in recovery, and we talk about sex.- Kristen Bell
At the end of the day, being a parent is one of the most difficult jobs there is, it doesn't come with a "How To" guide and we can all just try our best.
