LISTEN: Expert shares homework tips for overwhelmed kids

Is it just us or are kids getting too much homework?

Not too long ago, Rozanne McKenzie shared some thoughts on how much homework her kids get at school.

To her, it feels like her children spend most of their time outside the school day on homework, projects and other academic-related things.

But is it just her or do other parents feel this way?

Just as necessary, what do teachers think about how much homework primary and high school students are assigned?

There seems to be a common consensus that parents and teachers are not impressed by the amount of work children are required to do.

It's almost as if it is becoming less beneficial and more like an adult job.

Primary school kids even need access to Microsoft Teams and Outlook to find their assignments and homework!

The Drive team asked Laken Foster, a counselling psychologist, to share some insight, answer some questions and most importantly, share some advice for parents and students who feel like it might all be too much.
