LISTEN: "I don't want my book back after what they've done!"
Updated | By The Drive with Rob and Roz
Is reading on the toilet a big no-no?
Every Monday, Rob Forbes and Rozanne McKenzie will sift through their mailbag looking to help a listener in need.
LISTEN: "How do I confront a rude colleague?"
Not all are equally as serious, but no matter the issue, the team will address them all with the same intensity.
And with the help of Jacaranda FM listeners, the team will do their best to assist the person in need.
LISTEN: Is kids calling adults by their first names rude or the new norm?
Here's a look at the e-mail we've received:
"Hi Rob and Roz,
I have been listening to the Monday Mailbag and I never thought I would be writing in but here I am.
A good friend of mine had shared with me that they had been wanting to read one of my favourite books for the longest time, so as someone who wanted them to enjoy it as soon as possible, I lent them my copy.
I am very fond of my books and take great care of them so you can imagine how shocked I was when I visited my friend, only to find that my book was in their guest bathroom.
We all know what this means. And I personally am quite disgusted.
How do I address the situation? I don't know if I want my book back or if my friend should rather just keep it.
Please help."
