Llewellyn Herbert is a South African athletics icon!

Born in the little farm town of Bethel in Mpumalanga, Herbert would go on to accomplish big things.
He became an extraordinary hurdles athlete who represented South Africa multiple times across the world and set five national records in the 400m hurdles event.
It only makes sense that he became one of the many athletes to represent SA in three different Olympic Games.
He took part in the 1996 Games in Atlanta, USA, the 2000 Games in Sydney, Australia, and the 2004 Games in Athens, Greece.

We were lucky enough to have the medalist in studio with us, and he even brought his Olympic torch!
