Think about that moment when you walk past someone, and their perfume or cologne stops you in your tracks, making you turn to see who smells so good.

Scents are often tied to memories and emotions. For example, the fragrance of a certain perfume might bring back memories of your mother’s comforting hugs, or the scent of a fire reminds you of your dad’s braais.

Scent can alter our opinions, too. If food doesn't smell good, you probably won't eat it. And let's be honest, if someone doesn't smell fresh, we might judge them a little more critically.
