Romantic quality time usually involves a nice date night, a movie night, cooking together or can even be as simple as enjoying your morning coffee together.

Not everyone would consider getting sweaty during a hard workout as being romantic.

But what if you and your partner wanted to start working out together?

Could that be considered as spending time together?

You're not necessarily devoting the most time to your partner while you're focused on your workout.

According to Psychology Today there are a few benefits to working out together.

They conducted a study that compared working out with and without a romantic partner.

Rob Forbes and Rozanne McKenzie thought this was interesting but had to find out more for themselves.

So they asked Jacaranda FM listeners whether working out, actually does count as spending quality time together.
