The case of the "missing" Kate Middleton has captured the attention of seemingly the whole world.

If you go on any social media platform at any time you will find someone talking about a new video, photo or conspiracy theory that involves the missing Princess.

Most of the posts on social media have been tongue-in-cheek, humourous, and not-too-serious, but some people are genuinely concerned about the allegedly suspicious behaviour of the Royals.

Internet and social media sleuths have been trying their best to figure out what is possibly going on.

And now a new video has been thrown into the mix.

The video shows Prince William and Kate walking outside after having gone shopping:

This is the first confirmed footage of her since her abdominal surgery.

But viewers were suspicious and some decided to use artificial intelligence to make the footage less blurry.

This seems to prove that the Kate Middleton in the video is not the Kate Middleton everyone has come to know and love:

It's fair to say that the AI pictures can probably not be trusted but it has added more fuel to the already blazing fire.
