Unfortunately, he won't be getting it back...
There are very few people who can say they haven't had someone steal their phone.
If your phone has never been stolen, you probably know someone who has been in this terrible predicament.

From pickpockets to brazen thieves, our phones are not safe, no matter how many Android or iOS features are installed.
Even though we can 'find our iPhones', it's not guaranteed that your phone will ever be returned to you.
Most people would also assume that if their phone has been stolen, it will probably be sold as soon as possible.

But your phone might actually end up in China!
One man recently took to social media to show others that he had been tracking his stolen phone and could see where it ended up.
Sukru Haskan first posted that his phone had been grabbed in Knightsbridge, London, on July 30th.

He then managed to track it as it was being moved around:
After snatched at Knightsbridge last night, my phone was last active at 00:32 at close to the junction of Stroud Green Road, Blackstock Road and Seven Sisters Road at Finsbury Park. @metpoliceuk @CrimestoppersUK pic.twitter.com/QXrJy9gw8g

Haskan gave a final update after he managed to track his phone's last location to Shenzen, China!
Within two weeks, his phone had travelled almost 10,000km and, obviously, authorities would not be able to return it.

According to The Independent, the Chinese city is a hotspot for stolen goods as it is easy for them to unlock and resell iPhones given the tech knowledge in this region.
