There is always room for improvement, and they have been working hard to make the application as user-friendly as possible.
Something that is common when browsing Netflix, is finding something to watch.
Although they have hundreds of titles to choose from, it's become harder for people to pick something.
It's even become a running joke.

Now the streaming site is looking to improve their television application for the first time in a decade.
Its new rollout is specifically focused on increasing app usage and drawing subscribers with its new low-cost subscription plans.
They also tried to focus on ways to help users choose what they want to watch more quickly.
According to The Verge, Netflix has conducted research that showed people performing "eye gymnastics".
“We often see members doing gymnastics with their eyes as they’re scanning the home experience. We really wanted members to have an easier time figuring out if a title is right for them.- Pat Flemming, Netflix’s senior director of product
It's currently testing a brand-new homepage design.

Nearly 270 million Netflix users are currently testing the new format all around the globe and will be sharing feedback with the company.
This could then result in some final changes before its complete rollout.

The new format will include changes to the title cards, reorganizing information and highlighting easy-to-read bits about a show or movie.
The menu button has also been moved, and the 'My Netflix' tab has been changed to include what users are currently watching.
We really wanted to make that simpler, more intuitive, everything easier to navigate.- Pat Flemming, Netflix’s senior director of product
Now, all the information you might need about a movie or series will be popping up more prominent on your screen.
Hopefully, movie nights will no longer be spent just deciding what to watch!
