Outrage as Chris Hani's killer to be set free

The man who assassinated Chris Hani has been granted parole after serving a portion of his sentence.
Recently, the Constitutional Court upheld the appeal by Chris Hani’s killer Janusz Walus against an earlier decision to deny him parole.

The decision made by Chief Justice Raymond Zondo will see Janusz Walus placed on parole and be released sometime within the next 10 calendar days.
The ruling has angered Hani’s widow who, along with the minister and the SACP, had opposed the application.
