President Cyril Ramaphosa has been under tremendous scrutiny after the report of the incident was released.
Calls for President Cyril Ramaphosa to resign have been mounting after the Phala Phala report was released and the preliminary evidence shows that he may have violated the Constitution over how he handled the robbery.

The president insisted over the weekend that he was innocent of any wrongdoing and he he further reiterated that he will not resign from his post.
There will be a parliamentary vote this Tuesday that seeks to find a way forward, however, some parties are saying that the calls for resignation are premature.

The issue is also being assessed internally within the ANC, and the NEC has gathered to find a solution. President Ramaphosa has been recused from attending the meeting.
