What you'll need

Cheese

You can choose any cheese you enjoy, but use a variety of hard (manchego, cheddar, gruyere) and soft (brie, cream cheese, blue) cheese).

Meat

Biltong is a great option, as well as ham, salami, and prosciutto.

Savoury

Cut veggies, almonds, pecans, cashews, gherkins, hummus, cocktail onions and olives are flavours that work well.

Sweet

Fresh fruit like blueberries, strawberries, grapes, cherries, figs and marmalades.

Crackers

Choose a variety to accompany all the other snacks and cheeses.

How to arrange the charcuterie board

1. Choose a board that is big enough for the number of people you are hosting. It can be as big or small as you like. A flat board usually works best.

2. Start with the cheese and place it around the board.

3. Fold and add the meat. You can fold the meat into roses and other cute shapes. Here is a video with some tips:

4. Add the sweet and savoury ingredients. Pair fresh fruits, jams, and candied nuts with brie and goat cheese. Briny food, nuts, and mustard are near salami and parmesan.

5. Lastly, add the crackers and fill in the gaps.
