The Offspring and Green Day played to a roaring crowd on Sunday.

The ground shook as the bands hit every note and the crows sang along to every word.

One moment that shocked the crowd was when Green Day lead singer Billy Joe Armstrong called out to the crowd and asked who would like to join them on stage for one song.

Billy Joe yelled to the crowd: "Who knows the lyrics?"

As hundreds of hands shot up for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, one person caught his eye and made it onto the stage.

Karly Brown was taken up to the stage and sang with the band, but she was pretty overwhelmed like any normal human being standing next to their favourite musician.

After talking about the concert on the show, Karly's dear friend Di reached out to the Drive team, and we knew we had to contact her!

Take a listen to hear what Karly, a true Green Day fan, had to say about the experience and her redemption arc.

Tune in to 'The Drive with Rob & Roz', on weekdays from 16:00 – 19:00. Stream the show live here or download our mobile app here.
