ICYMI: Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus allegedly divorced
Erasmus and his wife, Nicolene, have seemingly parted ways after 20 years together.
The Springbok head coach has a lot to be thankful for.

He led the South African national team to glory at the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cups and received an honorary doctorate in Philosophy in Coaching Science from North-West University.
There is also no doubt that he is considered a hero in SA.
While he is extremely successful in his public life, his private life seems to be under some strain.
It's never easy to acknowledge the end of a relationship, especially one that has been a part of your life for 20 years.

In May 2024 Huisgenoot published the news that Rassie Erasmus and his wife Nicolene have allegedly divorced.
The publication had obtained documents that state that N. Erasmus (Nicolene) and J. Erasmus (Johan)'s divorce was finalised on April 29th.
Those close to the couple have done everything they can to respect their private lives.
No Rassie did not appear in court on the 29th of April or any other date.

Other sources close to the couple have said they were aware that the Erasmus couple were no longer living together, but you will not catch anyone in the Springbok circles talking about it.
Not even the Springboks' official spokesperson was willing to comment on the matter.
Nobody knows everything brewing in the inner rugby circles. That is a brotherhood that protects one another.
There have been no further updates and neither Rassie or his wife have spoken about the matter publicly.
