FOX TV has announced their latest series which will see a bunch of your favourite - and maybe not-so-favourite - celebrities battling it out on Mars.
Well, not exactly.
The show was filmed in Coober Pedy, an opal-mining town in southern Australia, which resembles the Red Planet in that the area is copper coloured and pretty desolate.

12 celebs will have to battle it out in this harsh environment in the hopes of winning the competition and being crowned the 'brightest star in the galaxy'.
Contestants will also be receiving their tasks from 'mission control' and host William Shatner, who is well-known for his role in the popular sci-fi series, 'Start Trek', so he seems perfect for the job!
FOX described the series as:
An out-of-this-world new unscripted series, in which household names trade in their possessions, status and glamorous lifestyles on Earth for an insane and hilarious summer on “Mars.” Their mission? To be suited up with no space to go, as they colonize, compete and conquer their new galaxy surroundings, until there is just one “celebronaut” left standing. Featuring cycling champion Lance Armstrong, Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch, wrestler and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams, comedian Natasha Leggero, Superbad star Christopher Mintz-Plasse (a.k.a. "McLovin"), Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, football player Richard Sherman, singer and songwriter Tinashe, Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz, actress Tallulah Willis, and former Modern Family star Ariel Winter.- FOX TV
