Terrible news for Cher with bereavement in her family

Singing icon, Cher, recently announced to the public that she had lost someone dear to her.

She said that her mother, singer and actress Georgina Holt, had passed away at the age of 96.
The exact details of her passing have not been confirmed, but Holt was admitted to hospital with pneumonia in September.

Cher loved her mother deeply and even produced a documentary in 2013 that explored their deep bond.
