Hi Rob and Roz,

I recently went through a breakup, and with the holiday season on the horizon, it’s making me really nervous. Going through this time of year alone really sucks. Seeing friends and family who are all going to ask what happened. Surely there has to be something good about being single, or am I delusional?

Here are the top five best and worst parts of being single:

Pros  

  1. You don't have anyone you have to report to about things bought or where you've or deciding what to do.
  2. Not having to argue with anyone about what to watch on TV.
  3. Having all your money for yourself. 
  4. You don't lose any argument.
  5. Having the whole cake for yourself.

Cons 

  1. You might not have someone to share certain things with.
  2. You don't have a regular person to cuddle and watch movies with.
  3. You are less likely to have plans, especially if your friends are in relationships.
  4. You always have to cook for yourself.
  5. Having the whole cake for yourself.
