As the two struck up a conversation, Bill shared that he needed a kidney transplant after suffering kidney failure because of diabetes.
About halfway home after talking the whole way and slowly becoming friends, Tim tells me that 'I think God must have put you in my car'. He says, 'If you'll take my name and number, I'll give a kidney to you. I was shaking so hard I couldn't even write down his name and number.- Bill Sumiel

Since the operation happened over a year ago, Letts has moved to Germany, but the two lifelong friends have stayed in touch and plan to do so for the rest of their lives.
This is exactly the kind of wholesome story we all could use on a Monday.
