VIDEO: Adele announces she is taking a break in emotional goodbye
If you haven't seen a live Adele performance yet, you are in for a long wait...
Adele has been going non-stop for years.
After the release of her last album, '30', she has had a residency in Las Vegas from November 2022.

'Weekends with Adele' has been a more intimate setting and has delivered some amazing moments from the singer.
Before her residency ends on 23 November 2024, the singer is currently spending a month in a bespoke open-air arena in Munich, Germany, where she performs two nights a week.
She was even so determined not to cancel a show that she performed one of her shows in heavy rains.
But being on the road, touring, and performing this amount of shows is not for the weak.
That's why it shouldn't really come as a surprise that Adele has announced that she will be taking a very long break soon.

At her last Munich show, she spoke to the crowd and got quite emotional as she shared her future plans.
She started by thanking everyone who had come to her shows in Munich and those who had come to any of her shows over the many years.
She continued by saying she has been blessed to perform for the last almost three years, which is the longest she's ever spent performing continuously.

As she came to the end of her speech, she started to get emotional as she talked about how she now plans to live her life off-stage.

While fans were sad to hear about her hiatus, everyone agreed that she deserves this time off:
