VIDEO: Angry elephant lifts safari truck off the ground
Updated | By The Drive with Rob and Roz
Elephants are gentle giants... when they want to be.
Safaris are an important part of South African culture.
Almost as important as our food and our languages.
Where else are you going to see the beauty that SA has to offer?
Safaris are an enjoyable holiday option for locals and tourists, but they don't always go as planned.
You can spend the whole day in the bush and not see a single animal.
Or you might come up close and personal with a wild animal.
Because let's be honest, you're still going into their home, without permission...
One safari truck almost ended up in a very dangerous situation that could have had a very sad ending.
In a video that was shared by @hendryblom on TikTok, an elephant is seen approaching one of these safari vehicles and it is clearly not happy.
Watch what happens when the elephant confronts the vehicle:

The same account also posted a follow-up video showing the point of view of this incident from inside the vehicle:

Luckily, everyone seemed to escape the situation unharmed, although possibly a bit traumatised...
