The latest controversy taking over the app is "Cakegate", where independent bakers and small businesses are clashing with popular US retailer Walmart.

Walmart, known for offering affordable groceries, home goods, and more, has launched a new heart-shaped cake design with vintage vibes in its bakery section, and it’s causing quite a stir.
This cake design has gained popularity on social media in recent months, and now Walmart has added it to its catalogue.
Unfortunately, this has sparked outrage among small business owners and independent bakers who feel the "cheap" Walmart cakes could put them out of business.

Some have even gone as far as to say that "a birthday cake is a luxury".
In response content creator and expert explainer Andra Berghoff shared a video unpacking the drama, breaking down why the reaction from these bakers might be unwarranted.

Some employees have been sharing their cake-decorating skills on TikTok for some time and take great pride in their work.
