Is there any better time to make a major announcement than at the Super Bowl?

In 2023, Rihanna used her halftime show to tell everyone she was expecting her second child, so it was fair to assume that there might be some more bombshells dropping in 2024.
But no one could have expected this.
During the 58th Super Bowl, the singer appeared in a Verizon advertisement that saw her trying to 'break the internet' by going above and beyond with various stunts, but failing in the process.

From a movie called 'BarBey' to a presidential campaign becoming the new BOTUS, she tries everything but with no success.
Finally, the ad ends with Beyoncé telling someone to "drop the new music":

While the actual ad might end there, eager fans noticed that right after its broadcast, a new teaser for a song called, 'Texas Hold 'Em', was uploaded on her official Instagram.
This was also then followed by a post which confirmed the release date for Act II of the 'Renaissance' trilogy.

It seems like the cowgirl-inspired outfit she wore to the Grammys was a hint at what to expect from her new music as she embarks on a journey into country music.
