VIDEO: Cafe doors only open with specific facial expression

In 2024, there are many unique and interesting cafes.

Some cafes specialise in certain foods or a theme and look that is not seen in any regular cafe.

In order to provide an out-of-the-ordinary experience you don't necessarily have to go too extra.

Something simple can go a long way.

A video has been shared on Reddit that shows the entrance to a cafe and the request they have before you are allowed to enter the establishment.

The video shows a few people walking up to the closed door. As they approach, the door clearly does not have handles, and after waiting for it to open on its own, people start to get confused.

There is a sign on the door which reads: "Smile to get a free coffee. Beating Blue Monday."

As it turns out, there is a sensor that picks up on your facial expression.

This seems like a cute idea, but after the video was posted it received a lot of backlash from commenters:
