VIDEO: Cape Town woman shocked by surprise visitors in Durban
Updated | By The Drive with Rob and Roz
Apparently nobody warned this poor lady before she packed up and moved to KZN...
If you have ever visited KwaZulu-Natal or lived there, you will know that it is a province that has an abundance of nature.

You can find a large variety of plants and animals all around, from the oceans to the mountains.
Something that you might also know is that you will often spot a monkey or two in your neighbourhood.
But they aren't just considered neighbours, some of them might even qualify as roommates.

For those who are not familiar, you have to keep windows, doors, and any other entrances to your house closed when you are away.
Some of the more cheeky monkeys might even try to get into your home while you are there!
The monkeys are almost everywhere in Durban. You'll see them playing in the streets or chilling in the trees.

If you are not aware of this, it might come as a bit of a fright if you were to visit the area.
One woman recently moved to Durban and was shocked that no one had given her any warning about the situation.
Cassidy Botha recently posted a video on TikTok and she explained that she had just moved to Durbs.
In her video, she shares something she did not expect:
@cassidyrosebotha this was really unexpected… #fyp #southafrica #durban #capetown #durbanite #crazy ♬ original sound - cassidybotha
It might seem obvious and natural for KZN locals, but most outsiders would relate to Cassidy.

The comment section had a lot to say with many people sharing their hilarious stories and tips for dealing with the little troublemakers:
- "It's stated in section 5, sub-section a of the "Moving to Durban from Cape Town" Pack. I'll send you a link to the drive"
- "Frr 😂I also moved to Durban from Cape Town; they always steal my bread."
- "Don't feed them Don't even try to touch them😭 never eat around them lock ur windows or they'll steal ur noodles"
- "At least wena they are chilling, they came into the kitchen, took my sandwich I had just removed from the toaster and sat in my driveway eating it"
Others just questioned why she would move from Cape Town to Durban: "Leaving Cape Town for Durban is WILD".
Durban is definitely on the wilder side.
