A chef is a reasonably reliable source of information on food and restaurants.
Chef Dennis Chan is a professional chef and winner of Pillsbury’s national baking contest (USA).
He has been using TikTok to share recipes and information, taste various foods, and post a lot of fun content.
In a popular video, Chef Chan told viewers about five things chefs would never order at a restaurant.

It might only be applicable and common practice for chefs but some of his reasoning for why you shouldn't order these dishes will probably make you question your choice the next time you're out.
