According to FinGlobal, there are five products that many locals would consider as being "Made in SA" that are foreign products.

Watch this hilarious video by SA content creator Ervè Bukasa to find out where some of your much-loved products come from:

Aromat

The Swiss company Knorr first introduced Aromant in 1953.

Black Label

This beer is synonymous with SA braai culture, sports, and so much more, so it's strange to find out that it originates in the UK.

Zambuk

Few things feel as authentically South African as Zambuk, but it was introduced in England during the 1800s.

Maggi

With flavours such as Durban Curry, you would obviously find yourself thinking this brand is homegrown. Unfortunately, Maggi Noodles is another Swiss export.

Sunlight

A staple in many SA homes, this brand also comes from the shores of England.
