With hits such as 'Jolene' and '9 to 5', she cemented herself as a legendary music star very early on in her career.
Dolly is a one-of-a-kind artist and while she's delved slightly into different genres, you wouldn't necessarily think of her as a rock star.
Well, after more than 50 years in the industry, she is entering the world of rock n roll with her 49th solo album, aptly named 'Rockstar'.

On this album, Dolly is teaming up with various rock musicians, including her superstar goddaughter, Miley Cyrus.
Not too long ago the duo performed Miley's song 'Wrecking Ball' together, with the song transitioning into Dolly's hit, 'I Will Always Love You'.
Now, 10 years after its release, Dolly will be featuring the collaborative version with Miley on her new album.

Speaking on the song and the first time she heard it Dolly said:
I remember the first time I heard ‘Wrecking Ball’, It hit me the same way it did the first time I heard ‘I Will Always Love You’ by Whitney Houston. I was driving, heard that one, and I almost wrecked. And when I heard ‘Wrecking Ball,’ I almost wrecked again! I thought, when it started into that chorus, I thought it hit me like a wrecking ball. I thought, ‘Well, how great can a song be?’- Dolly Parton
The album 'Rockstar' is set to be released on the 17th of November.
