It seems like Gen Z has been on a mission.

Many have taken to social media to criticise the fashion choices, behaviour, and even emoji use of Millennials and other older generations.

According to them, skinny jeans, side-parted hair, and the thumbs-up emoji are out and uncool.

It's getting harder to keep up with what they have suggested is "acceptable".

Not too long ago, women would get dolled up for a night out, and a part of the outfit that was a staple was a pair of high heels.

Especially if you were heading to a club to dance the night away.

No matter how sore your feet would get, or how impractical the shoes might have been, ladies would risk it for the final look.

Millennial and nostalgic content creator Isabel Clancy so accurately represents what it was like going out in the 2000s:

Luckily trends and looks have changed!

But there is still a certain divide between Gen Z and the older generations.

In a new video that has gone viral with over 7,6-million views, a woman shares what a typical night in a local bar looks like in 2024.

The video shows many different women in the bar dressed in very similar clothing.

One of the comments read, "They alllllll said *copy and paste*".

According to Gen Zs, they are opting for comfort over style and looking towards trends, flat footwear seems to be the way to go.

While they might be wearing more casual footwear, they are still putting lots of effort into the rest of the outfit.

Other millennial commenters also reminisced about the good old days:

  • "Omg I would have hated this when I was in my 20s lol. The best part of going out was getting all dolled up!"
  • "When I was clubbing you couldnt enter wearing jeans or sneakers."

At the end of the day, everyone should wear what makes then feel the most comfortable.
