When news broke of Matthew Perry's death in 2023, it shattered hearts worldwide.
Perry had been known for playing the role of the sarcastic and undeniably funny Chandler.
Chandler was one of the six main characters alongside Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Monica (Courteney Cox), Ross (David Schwimmer) and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow).

In the days following his death, his co-stars paid tribute to him with emotional social media posts.
The cast still remembers him fondly, and Lisa Kudrow recently shared how she is dealing with the loss of her friend and co-star.
Kudrow is currently promoting her new show 'No Good Deed' and appeared on 'Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard'.
During her interview, she shared some insight into the relationship between the co-stars behind the scenes.
She admitted that a six-way friendship was hard work, and they all had to work on that.

However, during another interview, fans were saddened to hear that the friendship they saw on screens, might not have been real.
While appearing on Jesse Tyler Ferguson's podcast 'Dinner's On Me', she made the following admission:
We’d only had dinner, the six of us, once before since the show ended. Just us at someone’s house and [we] had dinner, and like, didn’t miss a beat.
This was heartbreaking news for fans, as everyone believed the cast met up more frequently than that.
One person commented, "It’s pretty normal. It happens with my friends and we all live in the same city, but we are busy working and having our own lives. The 'Friends' cast worked all over the USA and even in Europe. So, it’s pretty normal if they didn't meet up."
While the cast might not have always been together, many of them would often hang out and post about it on their social media.
Kudrow has shared that since Perry's death, she has started rewatching the series.
Honestly, I wasn't able to watch it because it's too embarrassing to watch yourself. But if I make it about Matthew, then that's OK. And it's just celebrating how hilarious he was – and that is what I want to remember [about him].
