Many people who have spent a significant amount of time applying for job after job will tell you that sometimes, you don't even interact with a human.
Instead, they scan your CV, and if you don't have the specified qualifications, you get thrown out before you even have a chance.
TikToker Jerry Lee was recently inspired by a post on a Reddit thread where a person claimed they had a resume that guaranteed a 90% interview rate.

Lee found this hard to believe and decided to investigate further. Eventually, he created his own fake CV to see what would happen in a little experiment.
Watch this video as he explains his plan:
@jerryjhlee I applied to 100 jobs using a resume with the name, Kismma D. Nhuhts. You won't believe the results! Inspired by a claim on r/recruitinghub about an unreal interview success rate, we decided to push the boundaries even further. From eye-catching credentials to hilariously bold bullet points, this resume snagged interviews from top-tier tech firms without them batting an eye. This experiment will make you question everything you thought you knew about the job application process. Stay tuned for more. #JustJerry #Wonsulting #KismmaNhuhtsSeries

For Lee, who uses his platform to share advice and tips for creating the best resume, this amount of feedback on this experiment was incredible to witness.
He even received an interview opportunity from Reddit, which he mentioned would be a "pinch me moment".

While this exercise might have been fun and entertaining, we still highly recommend you do not send any joke CVs to potential employers you are seriously persuing.
