Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina is the official Guinness World Record holder with 99.98% of her body covered in tattoos.
The Guinness World Record (GWR) books are full of some crazy, fun and truly shocking records.

The organisation says, "At Guinness World Records we want to show that everyone in the world is the best at something, and we’re here to measure it! Whether you’ve got the stretchiest skin, know the world’s smallest dog or want to create the largest human dominoes chain we want to hear about it."
Society has come a long way in accepting tattoos and the stigma surrounding them has decreased significantly.
But it still takes a lot of courage to cover 99.98% of your body in permanent ink.
You also might be thinking, how is that even possible?
Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina randomly realised that she might be the most tattooed woman in the world, and GWR has officially given her the title.

Fuerzina is a 36-year-old Army veteran from Bridgeport, USA.
Her tattoos cover everything from her scalp, tongue, and gums to the white of her eyeballs (sclerae).
She even has her more intimate parts tattooed!
Her record was first confirmed in 2023 and she will feature in the 'Guinness World Records 2025'.
I feel both honoured and surprised about joining the Guinness World Records family. I grew up admiring the Guinness World Records books and record holders as a child and I am blown away to be featured in one now. I am so grateful.- Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina

After someone mentioned the tattoo record to her she decided to do some research and noticed that she had surpassed the previous record-holder by a long way.
Fuerzina first started with body modifications at 21 years old, which was eventually covered up by her third tattoo, and that's when the bug truly bit her.
She loves to travel and many of her tattoos are inspired by her adventures across the world.
Many of my tattoos are from other countries and are memories I can always take with me.- Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina
Tattooing can be painful, especially in certain areas of the body, but she says she gets through it by meditating.
She does say that the sclerae modification was the riskiest and that it was "pretty intense".
