According to AppleInsider, the latest developer beta of iOS 18.1 includes an Apple intelligence feature called Clean Up for Photos.
It is now available for beta testers to try out as it removes unwanted elements from photos.
The feature is available in the Photos app and appears as a new option when you choose to edit the photograph, under the name Clean Up.

It works by using the AI capabilities of Apple Intelligence and after selecting an object you want removed, it fills up the now-empty pixels in the image to match the rest of the scene.
