When you live in South Africa, you get used to seeing some weird and wonderful things.

You might find yourself watching a couple of men busy spit braai-ing on the back of a bakkie.

Or you might be stuck in traffic and witness the incredibly entertaining dancing traffic officer.

No matter where you go, you will, at some point during the week, find yourself saying, "Only in SA".

Our country is famous for its amazing wildlife, which sometimes decides to get more up close and personal than most of us would like.

GG Conservation has made it their mission to be a safe space for lions by being a sanctuary for the species.

While they do offer accommodation, there is no interaction with the lions or playing around for visitors.

The conservation is located in Harrismith, Free State, and during the recent cold snap, some snow fell.

But how did the lions deal with this? As it turns out, they weren't too bothered.

Unfortunately, many people on social media didn't believe that it could snow in South Africa, but the Saffas in the comments were there to educate them.

GG Conservation shared another video, expressing their appreciation for those standing up for them, this time featuring two of their lions, Luna and Snowdrop:
