On Sunday, August 18th, the proudly South African UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis faced Nigerian-New Zealand mixed martial artist Israel Adesanya.

After fighting to retain his title as World Champion, du Plessis and Adesanya shared a special post-match moment.

It wasn't just 'Stillknocks' who was holding the SA flag high this weekend.

The Proteas beat the West Indies by 40 runs and the Springboks dominated the Australians for a second weekend in a row.

With the rugby world champions so close to the UFC 305 event it only made sense that some of them would make their way to support a fellow South African athlete.

Siya Kolisi and Eben Etzebeth even had the honour of joining du Plessis for his walkout into the arena:

But the moment he took down Adesanya in the fourth round, there was nobody more excited than Etzebeth and Kolisi in the whole arena.
