VIDEO: Study finds which month produces the most attractive people
Updated | By The Drive with Rob and Roz
Beauty might lie in the eye of the beholder, but science has entered the chat.
A recent video on social media has gone viral because of some controversy.
LISTEN: "People don't understand that I do not want children!"
Jodi Kodesh is a meteorologist who has gathered quite a social media following by sharing fun and informative videos about her job.
However, she has posted a video that has gotten under some people's skin.
In her video, she starts by saying that a study has ranked the months of the year by the attractiveness of people born in that month.

This means that there is only one month that has the hottest people.

Her video was clearly not meant to be taken too seriously, but some viewers were offended as one comment read, "The stupidest post ever."
Jodi responded by stating, "I didn't create the study, I just read the results. 😂"

Luckily, those who might be upset with the rankings would be happy to know that the "study" she was referring to wasn't the most scientific study.
In an article written by Rajive Patel, a medical writer for NowPatient, he used lists of the sexiest male celebrities and sexiest female celebrities from Ranker and compiled a list of 500 names in total.
He split the list of 500 sexiest celebs into their birthday months and made the following list according to this:
- April – 60 celebrities
- August – 51 celebrities
- February – 49 celebrities
- December – 47 celebrities
- September – 44 celebrities
- March – 42 celebrities
- October – 41 celebrities
- November – 39 celebrities
- January – 35 celebrities
- May – 33 celebrities
- July – 30 celebrities
- June – 29 celebrities
While it seems like celebrities are always more attractive than average, this list is clearly not that serious.
Some studies have been done on birth months and attractiveness, such as 'Born to be beautiful: Season of birth influences adult females’ physical attractiveness' authored by researchers at the University of Wrocław, Poland.
