Things were heating up on and off the tennis court during this year's Australian Open.
The Australian Open is the first tennis Grand Slam of the year.

In the blistering Aussie heat, players try to keep their cool as they take on the best of the best in the hopes of lifting the Daphne Akhurst Memorial Cup (Women's Singles) or the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup (Men's Singles).
The tournament usually starts in mid-January and ends with the Men's Singles Final match on the last Sunday of the month.
This year, reigning women's champ Aryna Sabalenka secured her spot in the final after defeating close friend and rival, Paula Badosa.

While Badosa’s campaign ended there, her journey to the semi-finals was anything but uneventful.
In the third round, Badosa faced off against Ukraine’s Marta Kostyuk in a tense match. Although she eventually clinched victory in the third set, the second set nearly slipped away when Kostyuk took a 5–0 lead.
Frustrated with her performance, Badosa showed visible signs of agitation.

A moment that quickly went viral captured her venting her frustration to her boyfriend in the stands – none other than fellow tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas.
In an attempt to reassure her, Tsitsipas made the classic mistake: he gestured for her to calm down.
