VIDEO: Woman in tears after reading message from future father-in-law

There are so many horror stories about in-laws.

We've seen it in the movies, on our television screens, and many have experienced it in real life.

But not all in-laws are created equal.

A woman recently shared that she received a text message from her future father-in-law after his son proposed.

She decided to post a screenshot of the message on TikTok and the video has now been viewed 3.7-million times.

Mia Amabile told People that the text message had left her in tears and that it is her "roman empire".

Mia also said that her fiance has a great role model to look up to.

And the response to the video has been just as sweet with people praising Doug (the father-in-law in question) for his beautiful message.

One commenter even said: "Petition for Doug to teach a seminar on how to be an in-law".

Another said "DOUG IM A PUDDLE😭😭😭" to which Mia responded "😭😭 wish I recorded what he said to me on the phone".

Clearly this is the start of a beautiful journey for this growing family.
