The group of five formed in July 2010 and achieved major commercial success with their hit single, ‘That’s What Makes You Beautiful’.

Unfortunately, one of the members, Zayn Malik, left the group in March 2015, and in 2016, the remaining members decided to go on an indefinite hiatus.

Since then, the members have gone on to achieve varying levels of success. Harry Styles has become a style icon and Grammy winner, while Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn have also celebrated solo success.
