Since winning her 2024 Grammy for Best African Music Performance Award, she has been booked and busy but has finally found some time to travel home and has been in SA since April.
Her debut album was released in March, and a few of the songs have gone viral again, including 'Jump', which features American rapper Gunna and Jamaican DJ Skillibeng.

The song features the already iconic line, "They ain’t never had a pretty girl from Joburg", and it seems like Tyla and Gunna felt like there was no better place to shoot the visuals for the music video than Johannesburg itself.
The pair were spotted recently as pictures and videos circulated on social media.
They also made a stop at the popular Soweto venue, Konka:
The singer has also said that she was very excited about the release of this song and couldn't wait for others to hear it:
@spotifyafrica No cap, @Tyla was speaking her business on Jump with these lyrics: “They ain’t never had a pretty girl from Joburg. See me now and that’s what they prefer.” 🔥🐅👏🏽 #SpotifyAfrica #Tyla #Tygers #TylaJump ♬ original sound - Spotify Africa
We're sure that SA fans can't wait to see one of the country's cities in this video!
