WATCH: Man has medics treat his sick rag doll wife
Cristian Montenegro, 27, started 'dating' his now wife after he decided he had been single for too long.
These days it's not uncommon for you to come across a story of an individual who has decided to marry a tree, their car or even a doll.

What you don't see too often is a man urging paramedics to save his rag doll wife's life.
Cristian Montenegro, who resides in Bogota, Colombia, has been married to Natalia, a rag doll, for a few years and they even have three children, the youngest being born in recent months.

Unfortunately, Cristian and his family experienced a health scare recently when he said Natalia was suffering from a headache, which led him to call paramedics.
Shockingly enough, the paramedics responded and tried to help the very distraught husband.

In a video that has made its way around social media, Cristian can be seen crying next to Natalia as she lies in the back of an ambulance.

Cristian also posted a video of the experience on his personal social media:
The video has left a bad taste in many people's mouths as they say that these important emergency services have been abused and in the time they were helping this doll, they could have saved more lives.

Since local news sources have reported this story, the Bogota Health Secretariat has said that it will be investigating the paramedics who 'treated' the rag doll.
Before his wife took a turn for the worse, Cristian had been uploading pictures and videos of the couple on social media, including a video of Natalia 'getting a tattoo' of his name on her arm:
It seems like the couple is still happily married and that things are back to normal... or at least as normal as they can be when you're married to a rag doll.
