People should be taking plane etiquette more seriously.
It seems as though, in recent years, people travelling on airplanes have become more dramatic and demanding.

We've all seen multiple situations where videos have gone viral showing passengers losing their tempers and causing chaos.
There is still some debate surrounding swapping seats, which seems to create some tension.
If a person has paid for their specific seat, is there any obligation for them to give it up just because someone asks them to?

Unless it's for safety reasons, it seems pretty unnecessary and inconvenient.
A man recently shared his travel story involving a situation much like this.
TikTok user Nick (@nickfromohio) starts his video by stating: "If somebody asks you to switch seats with them on an airplane, just say no, because these people do not have good intentions."
He might not be wrong.

On a flight home, Nick had booked a window seat and was enjoying his peaceful plane ride when a father approached him and asked if he would switch seats with him.
The man explained that he wanted to sit closer to his children, but when Nick asked him where his children were seated, he started to get irritated.
Concerned about the father being separated from his young children, Nick discovered that the children were adults sitting beside him.

He declined to switch seats with the father, but later, things escalated and got very heated.
At the end of the day, the man and his children had to pay the price for his bad behaviour.
And Nick got the aisle seat he originally wanted.
Once again it proves that you get much more done when you act kindly.
