Wendy Williams 'focusing on her mental health' for major podcast comeback

Media mogul Wendy Williams reportedly checked herself into a mental wellness facility before she launches her new podcast.

Media personality Wendy Williams (58) has reportedly checked herself into a mental wellness facility amid ongoing mental health issues.

According to her publicist Shawn Zanotti, Williams has entered the wellness facility to manage her "overall health issues."
"She is taking some time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a major comeback for the next level in her career with The Wendy Experience Podcast," he said.
"Ms. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world. We ask for your prayers and well wishes during this time."

The news comes after a challenging year for Williams, whose hit daytime talk show, 'The Wendy Williams Show', ended earlier this year after 14 years.
