The Western Cape has been affected by serious rainfall and flooding over the long weekend.
Massive floods and torrential rainfall have inundated areas of the Western Cape province.

The South African Weather Service has also issued a level 2 warning for disruptive rain in Gauteng.
The storms have claimed the lives of eight individuals at this point.
