One recent poster shared his vacation story and people had a lot to say.

The original poster (OP) explains that he had won a holiday trip to Florida, USA.

He told his wife about the trip he had won and was excited to share it with her.

The trip is for only four people so he wanted to take his wife along on the trip and invite another couple for an adults-only getaway.

This upset his wife and it resulted in a fight, as she immediately started planning to take her 11-year-old daughter, his stepdaughter, along, as well as her mother.

But the story doesn't end there and the situation escalated:

It doesn't seem like the OP wanted to be malicious with his plans and just wanted to enjoy a break with his wife instead of a family vacation.

Something else to consider is the fact that it was technically his prize.

Commenters were slightly divided about who was in the wrong in the situation, but in the end there was clear support for one person:
