No matter what you choose to do to your body, whether it's to improve your health or you just want to change your look, you are naturally going to try and find the best person for the job.
Unfortunately, there are many people who will claim to have your best interests at heart, only for you to suffer the consequences - and sometimes they can be extremely severe.

Jessica Burko is a 27-year-old social media content creator who has enjoyed getting lip filler for quite some time.
She has never previously experienced any sort of issues with this procedure and has gone to the same specialist every time.
But she's now said she will never do that again after a recent experience went horribly wrong.

After winning a Halloween competition, Burko said: "He certainly had me looking very scary."
However, some would argue that this was a severe understatement.
According to Burko, while the doctor was injecting the filler, he had apparently hit an artery which caused the product to be displaced and led to her lips swelling up to an enormous size.

Many people in the comments have been quick to point out that this seems more like an allergic reaction than a knocked artery.
Jessica, however, has already stated that this experience will not stop her from getting lip fillers, but it has convinced her to stay loyal to her regular doctor and she won't go to anyone else from now on.
As they say: "Do as I say, not as I do."
